. Decorating pumpkins at our house comes in varying degrees of difficulty. This year we opted for coloring with markers. 
Naomi enjoyed pumpkin decorating, too!
Derek enjoyed watching a Sharks game (until they lost) while we decorated pumpkins.
We went to the Little River Zoo on Tuesday after school. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Good thing we went then, because Wednesday it turned yucky and it's stayed that way. Naomi was there, too, but Derek wasn't, so there aren't any pictures of her.

I love the idea of doing pumpkins with markers! And your kids got to pet a skunk? Wow! I can say that's something I've never done! :)
how fun - the pumpkins and the zoo! We will be doing pumpkins soon here... only we'll be doing it the goopy way ugh. i hate scooping the goop out... but i like the pumpkins after they are carved.
Now that is my kind of pumpkin 'carving'.
The zoo looks like so much fun. My KIDS love petting zoos.

Wow, you are on top of things! I just hope we get to our pumkins BEFORE Halloween this year. Every year we're racing the clock trying to get something carved out while trick-or-treaters are already at our house. Cute pictures!
Okay, I just read your post again and I had to chuckle. Is it coincidence, or was the only way to get a picture of you taken to be between your husband and the TV with the game on? I love it!
