Thanksgiving and Houston

Yes, I know I am very behind. I would like not to be, but it's way too late to prevent it, so I'm left with the next best thing -- rushed and abbreviated catch-up, leaving out many of the delightful details you've all been dying to hear. Sorry about that, but it's nearly Christmas and I cannot be two holidays behind!

Alas -- I am now two holidays behind...

Here's Thanksgiving: (remember, a picture is worth a thousand words -- this is quite the essay)

Ha ha ha! Too funny about DJ not realizing there are more Sharks fans out there. I am pretty sure we got Genny and JJ recruited too. (Yes, I always disregard the rules of Fandom. All that stuff about being loyal to a team even when you get players you professed to hate because they played for teams you hate so you hate the player right up until the moment of the trade; you can't be a fan of a team on the other side of the country; you can't be a fan of a team that is based in the city of your birth if you dare move to another city with another team... or something like that.) Anyway, yes, let's do get together sometime, 'cause with the amount of Sharks blood we've got running in the veins of our two families, that would be a hoot!

So does Derek have family in Houston. It is good to see that you are all still alive.
I can't believe Naomi is old enough to sit up already. Time PLEASE slow down!!!

My brother and sister both took teaching jobs in Houston. They are living together and my parents flew down. We had everybody but my older brother, if he brought his family it would have added another 8 people and would have been ridiculous in an apartment.

I love the picture of the kids sprawled all over the bean bag - they look nice and comfy! And the light pictures at the bottom are cool - I love the tractor!
