Michael's Interview

1. Where were you born? At the hospital, I think -- oh, in the car.
2. What is your favorite color? Blue
3. What is you favorite TV show? Star Wars
4. Do you have a special pet or possession? Well, pets are coming to my classroom.
5. Who is your favorite singer? Me
6. Who is your best friend? Maggie and Sandie and Aitana
7. What games do you like to play? Star Wars, Lego Star Wars and Spiderman
8. Do you belong to any clubs? School clubs
9. If you were an animal, which one would you like to be? I think a horse.
Why? Because I like them.
10. What is something unusual that happened to you in the last year? Something happened that was embarrassing.
What? Umm, I saw a cow oinking -- I mean, not oinking, mooing. And it was embarrassing, because I saw it.
11. What are your favorite things to do at school? Play in the sand, and play with Connor in the block center, and play with legos, with Connor, and play with Zane in the fishing center -- you know that place where there's a puzzle and we have to get the stuff out at the same time (this was accompanied by a lot of gesturing).
12. How many different houses have you lived in? Umm, I think 55.
Where were those 55 houses? I said that I think that's it's 55, I just don't know. But I do know that I've been to Korea and the place by Grandma and Grandpa Poulson's, but I forgot what other houses I've been to. Oh, yeah, I do know one -- Arizona. Arizona's my favorite one that I've been to.
13. When you grow up, what would you like to do or be? I think I would want to be someone who eats brownies a lot -- a boy who does that.
Why? Because I like brownies a lot.
14. Name a person you admire. Well, it's someone in my school -- Zane
Why? Because Zane is a funny talker. Well, it's actually not because of that. It's because we do jokes together.
15. How old are you? Five.

Michael wanted to add the following information:
I like my turtles and I like my turtle, but we don't know their names, because one of them got lost. And we don't know their names now, because now there's only three. But I know that mine is still here, because there's one with sharp claws and mine has sharp claws. And they like their log and they climb on it sometimes. One of the turtles tries to get more water in. Well, I think that one down there is trying to get up, but it's falling a little bit down. Hey, hey! Did you know that the one without a leg is the one that's lost? I think it's because someone wanted a turtle and DJ listened and he picked that turtle up and threw it over the fence. I think that's what happened.

Ok, Michael rocks! I love this interview...and I foresee some new blog posts over at my place. What a neat way to record your kids' personalities. And why didn't I pick to be a brownie eater when I grew up?

What a funny kid! That was a fun read. And now I think I'll go and pursue my new career as a brownie eater!

I know you've moved a lot during Michael's short life, but almost once a month? I think that's a bit extreme. :-) Poor kid has lived so many places he can't even remember them all.

I also love that he is his own favorite singer. And his embarrassing viewing of an oinking cow. What a funny kid.

Gosh, just reading about that cow made me blush :)

55(minus about 50) seems to be pretty accurate. Cute post!

What a crack-up that kid is! I love his idea of what happened to the turtle - DJ throwing it over the fence because someone wanted one! :)

These interviews were precious! I love the way children think. Also, I have always wanted to go to Alaska so I am a bit jealous that you are moving there. Let me know what it is like!
