I promised my sisters Splash Pad pictures

I put a few in the slide show on the sidebar, but I thought I'd put some in a post, so that they can be enlarged and more fully enjoyed.

This is a water play area located in one of the big city parks here. One of my friends invited us to her daughter's b-day party at the "Splash Pad" and we fell in love. Even when it's packed and the weather is stifling, this is an outdoor activity any child can enjoy!

Nina and DJ: Swimming or praying?

Occasionally the water shuts down to rebalance the chemicals, but the kids still enjoyed it...

These come and go and the kids love to try to be in them right as they shoot up to their highest point.

This is the best view I got of the majority of the splash pad. I didn't get the dumping buckets, so I guess we'll have to go back and get some more pictures. I'm sure my kids will be sadly disappointed.

These are a lot of fun. They have a splash park in Vernal that looks a lot like this. Briaunna has fun at it. I haven't taken the babies yet!!

That does look entertaining. I can't believe how big DJ is now. That first picture I thought was Jon. Even looking at it bigger it still kind of looks like Jon to me because DJ has his eyes scrunched. Crazy.

The closest they have to this kind of entertainment in Sheridan is a fountain in one of the parks. I've never actually seen the fountain going, but I've seen kids waiting for it. I don't think it's all that exciting.

That looks like so much fun! I think they have one of those in Vernal. I might have to take my kids there one day this summer. They would love that.

I'm so excited to go to this! It looks like so much fun! I agree with Meg-DJ looks so much more grown up. It's crazy. He is so cute though too.

That is so funny that you just went to a splash pad... We just got a brand new park with a splash pad that's near our house. We checked it out yesterday and are planning to go play there on Thursday. So you just might be seeing splash pad pics on my blog soon!! I'm so excited for you for the new baby to be... it's only a few days away!!! Can't wait to hear the good news!! How exciting!

Your kids look like they're having a blast! I haven't taken my kids to ours for quite a while - thanks for reminding me! It can be overwhelming to take 5 young kids to a pool all by myself, but the Splash Park is very easy, and the kids love it. I can't wait to hear news about your baby. . .
