So, Naomi was born, Lil came to Oklahoma (Jun 18th), Derek left for Ft. Lewis (Washington -- Jun 23rd), and Lil and I drove with five kids to Utah (Jun 24th-25th). We have been having a great time seeing grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, great-aunts and uncles, and assorted other family and friends. Next week we'll have all of my parents' children and grandchildren together for the first time ever. Unfortunately we will be missing all of the sons-in-law. It's hard to get spread out family together...
Derek gets to Utah on the 25th and we will head for California a week later. We'll be returning ot Oklahoma (via Phoenix) in the middle of August.
Unfortunately, we are not within easy access of the internet (I'm spoiled -- I do not consider dial-up easy access...), so I haven't been on to post. Sometime in the next little while I will try to find a faster connection so I can post some updated pictures, but until then, I thought I'd at least let you all know what we are up to. I hope all of you are enjoying your summer!

It has been fun seeing you guys. Jenn, you are more than welcome to come use my computer. I have DSL and it would be another 'excuse' for the kids to play while you are on the internet!!

Sounds like a lot of fun! I saw a picture somewhere... I think on the Poulson Pigeon... of Lil, and it got me missing her. How is she? Do tell her hello for me! I'm glad you've been having so much fun with family. Enjoy your summer!
You totally amaze me, Jenn. Driving from Oklahoma to Utah, with five kids, the youngest which was only a week old, without your husband. Wow. I hope to see you guys while you're out here! If I can handle loading up my five kids, and driving only an hour . . . :)
Were you planning on visiting Grandma and Grandpa Hansen while you are here?? There is a reunion on July 26th at the Blackfoot pool and park. Starting around noon. I'm going to try to make it to that.
Jenn, you have a beautiful baby! I loved reading Derek's post about the birth. It is fun to see a man get in there and do the journal keeping now and then. Derek's posts and comments are such fun to read. Congratulations on another sweet child. Hope you have a fabulous time on your trip and with your family. Tell your mom and dad hi for me.

Hello, Curtis'! I hope you're having a great summer. We are voting for Micheal to return to our Sunbeam class asap as we have dwindled down to one child, well now we have Bella so I guess we're up to two, but we miss Micheal! I know you're coming back, but this summer is dragging on forever. Yesterday we were at the splash pad for Regan's birthday and Silas asked if he would ever get to play with the Curtis' again. I assured him you would be back and he will be able to play with "The Curtis'" again. Take Care, Have fun, and you have the cutest little baby girl!
