Derek and I went to DC for his little brother, Trevor's, wedding in August, then we spent a few days in New York. It was fun, but I admit, I thought way more about the kids I left in Alaska than I had hoped to:)

Glad you got to go! And, I think it's impossible as a mom not to think about the kids . . . but I'm still glad you got to go! :)

You poor thing! I'm not sure there's a remedy though, or an off-switch to turn off thoughts of the kids when you're on vacation. However, your kids are pretty cute, so hopefully thinking of them so much didn't ruin anything. :)
